Hey there! My name is Kaitlyn Baker. I am from a very small town in southwest Virginia called Pound, where we don’t even have a red light! I’ve been raised up going to Church, singing with my family, and eating some of the best home cooked meals around. There’s never been a time in my life when music hasn’t been consuming it. Music has made me who I am as a person and also given me an escape to express my feelings.

This new album is very important to me. Not only because I co-wrote each of the songs, but because the songs are full hearted, genuinely me. Songwriting has allowed me to write stories about true events in my life as well as about things that have great meaning to me. I am very forthcoming about my faith, love, my hometown and my love for music. If you receive anything from these songs, I hope you gain a small piece of who I am: a small town girl full of big dreams.
